Utilizing the state-of-the-art facilities of The Cumberland Clinic™, we strive to exceed our patient's expectations in all aspects of their care. This begins with accreditation of The Cumberland Clinic™ through the Canadian Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (CAAASF). We are designated a CAAASF Class III Facility.

This accreditation allows us to provide all levels of anaesthesia in an
environment comparable to that of a hospital, but with the additional privacy and

The Cumberland Clinic™ offers 2 fully equipped operating rooms, a monitored
recovery room for 3 patients and overnight recovery facilities.

The Cumberland Clinic™ offers same-day surgery patients a superior level of
surgical care, followed by attentive post-operative care prior to discharge. All
details and arrangements to expedite a safe and speedy recovery are attended
to by our staff.

The Overnight Package™ has been prepared for patients having longer
procedures who require an overnight stay, or for those who simply wish private
expert nursing care in the early recovery period, and for those visitors who may
wish us to provide a care-giver for them. It includes fully monitored private or
semi-private nursing care throughout the night and breakfast. Prestige Plus, a
private limousine service is available to return patients safely to their home or
hotel in the morning. Our experience is that many patients highly value the
comfort and security of The Overnight Package™.

The Visitor's Package™ includes The Overnight Package™, and in addition
we assist our patients from afar with all of their local arrangements. We provide
information and assistance to make their stay as relaxing and worry-free as
possible.

The Cumberland Clinic™ has one of its surgeons and one of its
anaesthesiologists on call at all times to meet the needs of patients in the
clinic. All patients are attended to by a staff surgeon prior to their discharge to
confirm all criteria for a safe discharge have been met.
